Robert Lanzini has created art for as long as he can remember. Mainly self-taught, he is influenced by nature and travel, which serves as inspiration for his abstract creations. His zest for life is evident in the bold colors and energetic paintings.
Lanzini’s works have been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in area gathering places and in shows supporting non-profit causes.
Lanzini currently paints with acrylics but is also an avid photographer. He also works with watercolors and enjoys sketching. His current series of three-dimensional paintings juxtapose blocks of color and deconstructed bicycles and computers. While not in the studio, Lanzini owns and operates Robert Lanzini Salon, a popular beauty salon on the west side of Houston. He finds his work as a stylist to be another creative endeavor.
